Nvidia Graphics Card 9800 1gb
XPS 600 graphics card problems?
I have an XPS 600 desktop computer and recently replaced one of the Geforce 6800 graphics cards. I installed a 1GB, massive, Nvidia Geforce 9800 graphics card, but now all the computer can do is squeal and fail to boot. The manual said something about connecting this four pin power supply, but there seems to be nowhere on my computer to attach it. If anyone knows how to properly install it, or if the card can even function on my system, I’d be extremely grateful.
You probably need a 4 pin power connector if your PSU doesn’t have one that comes with it. The 4 pin plugs into your graphics card from one or two (4pin) molex connectors.
