can i change my graphics card to Nvidia Geforce 6200GT DDR2 to Geforce 9600GT DDR3?

I ve been using a graphics card for my motherboard 512 MB nvidia geforce 6200ge…its ddr2…now i want to use nvidia geforce 9600GT with DDR3…my motherboard is asus m2n vm dvi…it has a pci express slot …and these graphics cards are meant for pci express too… can i install geforce 9600 GT on it?
