Why won’t my PCI-e graphics card fit in my computer?
I just bought a brand new R4650 graphics card (which according to the website i bought it from WILL fit a PCI-e slot) and i tried to install it, but it simply won’t fit in the case. It fits the slot just fine, I measured it to make sure. Is it normal for the card to be too big for the case? What can I do about it now? I heard about cutting it to fit from a friend, but that sounds rather questionable to me…
With video cards getting bigger & bigger you really need to find out the length of the card & then measure the inside of your case & make sure it will fit before you buy the video card.
I had to move 1 of my hard drives to make room for my ATI HD 3870 X2 1gb GDDR3 video card as the card is like 11 inches long.
